Forward March to Growing a Healthy Business Base

I operate a small, home based travel business, and at the moment, most of my transactions are coming from family, friends, and referrals. Truly, I am thankful to all of you who referred my business or have started booking through my website,

Having a core value of FAIR GOD and a daily admonition provide a healthy dose of accountability.

When I stepped into the world of entrepreneurship, I prayed that I’d always be reminded of the promise that all things work together for those who put their love & trust in God and for those who were called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). I came up with the acronym FAIR GOD, which stands for Faith, Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Grace, Oversight, and Discipline, and made it the core value of my work and business ethics. Ephesians 4:22-24, became my daily admonition, “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”

Not everything is about money. Sometimes, to be profitable and remain profitable, you have to let go of some profits. And take comfort in knowing that not all “buts” speak of a lack of faith.

There were few people I had helped with their flights, pro bono, and that is okay. It’s not just about making profits, although, earning money plays a significant part in growing a successful business. I’m having fun doing what I’m doing, and I am grateful to all of you who continually support and patronize my business. Besides, at the moment, I have gotten to a point where my overhead expense, at least, is already covered until September of this year, assuming I don’t work and get new transactions. But, that’s not going to happen because I know you all got my back. Now, this is a BUT that lives of faith!

Slowly, I am building a good base, and I owe it to many of you who share my excitement. Thank you!

Just recently, I booked a three-night Trump hotel accommodation in Vegas. The attached photo was not the actual purchase, but the savings were very similar. Nevertheless, this was from real; live comparative rates pulled out over a week ago from my Enjoy Life Booking Engine, which showed a three-night rate of $877.92 while my Expedia travel agent portal access found a pricing of $977 for the same accommodation. This type of comparative savings result may not be a general norm, although you may find a good number of opportunities to save from my Enjoy Life site. Since we have the same suppliers, by and large, the prices between my booking engine and others are matching if not just very slightly different in pricing.

My goal is to get you a better value for your money while I earn a little extra in the process. If the prices you found on my Booking Page gave you either matching or almost a negligible price difference, may I ask that you book from me, instead? Or may you, at least, allow me to book it direct from the supplier so I could earn the commission? I have a travel agent access to many major suppliers such as Expedia, Hotel dot com, Disney, Marriott, various cruise lines like Princess, Carnival, Norwegian, ticketing agencies for international airfares, and etcetera. And yes! I also do international flights!

Truly, I am thankful to all of you who referred my business or have started booking through my website, I wish us all good tidings and a FAIR GOD living.
